How to Set Up Your Phone as a Google Slides Remote

  1. Install the Chrome Extension

    • Open the Chrome Web Store and search for "Remote for Slides."

    • Add the extension to the Chrome browser.


  2. Prepare the Google Slides Presentation

    • Open the Google Slide presentation in edit mode.

    • Click on the "Present with Remote" button that appears after installing the extension.

    • Select "Start Remote" to generate a 6-digit code.


  3. Connect Your Phone

    • Open the Remote for Slides website or use the Remote for Slides Android app.

    • Enter the 6-digit code displayed on the computer screen.

    • Click "Connect."


  4. Control the Slides from the Phone

    • Navigate through slides using the 'next slide' and 'previous slide' buttons.

    • Access speaker notes directly on the phone for smoother delivery.
