Tulipmania 2025: A Weekend of Blooms, Brushes, and Beautiful Moments at Gardens by the Bay

Tulipmania returns to Gardens by the Bay this April with a fresh take on springtime charm and cultural celebration. From 17 April to 12 May 2025, visitors to the Flower Dome can immerse themselves in the wild beauty of tulips inspired by the eastern landscapes of Türkiye, where these beloved blooms first emerged.

This year’s edition intertwines the story of tulips with the rich tapestry of Turkish civilisations, weaving a vibrant cultural narrative through flowers, art, and hands-on experiences.


More than just a visual treat, Tulipmania 2025 invites guests to engage all five senses through specially curated activities set against an enchanting floral backdrop. Here are some upcoming highlighted programmes happening this weekend to complement Tulipmania 2025.

On 19 April, explore tulips like never before at “Sensory Moments – Tulipmania”, a newly refreshed programme offering an intimate encounter with the blooms. Participants will rotate across three stations to see, touch, and smell real tulip cuttings, learning to appreciate their textures, details, and natural fragrance in a 10-minute guided experience.

From 18 to 19 April, the Flower Dome will also host the Ebru Art Workshop by Abdulvahap Ertekin, in collaboration with the Turkish Embassy in Singapore. A master of Ebru, the centuries-old Turkish art of marbling, Ertekin will guide participants through the process of manipulating natural pigments on water to create fluid, swirling designs, which are then transferred onto paper. This meditative art form offers a rare opportunity to learn traditional brushwork techniques from one of Türkiye’s most acclaimed artists.

For those with a flair for crafting, the Enchanting Tulip Lamp Workshop by Tippsyfingers will take place on 19 and 20 April. Participants can design their own tulip-themed mini table lamp using pre-wired acrylic tulips, green yarn, dried baby’s breath, and a glowing mini acrylic lamp base. The result: a beautiful keepsake that captures the spirit of Tulipmania and lights up any room.


With its rich cultural theme, interactive workshops, and stunning tulip displays, Tulipmania 2025 offers visitors of all ages a chance to slow down, create, and connect with beauty in all its forms.
