Singaporean Households Can Now Redeem Jan 2025's $300 CDC Vouchers

Every Singaporean household is now eligible to claim $300 in Community Development Council (CDC) vouchers, which can be used for daily expenses.

These vouchers are divided equally, with half available for spending at participating hawkers and heartland merchants, and the other half for supermarkets. The final tranche of $300 has been distributed as of 03 Jan 2025.

Initially launched in June 2020 during the pandemic, the CDC vouchers scheme aimed to assist lower-income households with daily expenses and support local merchants and hawkers. It was expanded to all households in December 2021 to show appreciation for Singaporeans' solidarity and to bolster heartland businesses as they recovered from the pandemic. Despite the end of the pandemic, the CDC scheme has continued to help Singaporeans manage their cost of living challenges.

The process remains consistent with previous rounds: one household member must visit go.gov.sg/cdcv and log in with their Singpass to claim the Jan 2025 digital CDC vouchers on behalf of the household.

Once claimed, the applicant will receive an SMS with a unique voucher link from "gov.sg" sent to their registered mobile number. This link can be shared with other household members and must be used by 31 Dec 2025.

Participating hawkers and heartland merchants can be identified by a teal CDC voucher decal, while participating supermarkets will display a yellow decal. Residents can also find a list of participating businesses near them at go.gov.sg/cdcvouchers.

By continuing the CDC vouchers scheme, the government aims to alleviate the financial burden on households and support local businesses amidst ongoing economic challenges.
