Marina Bay Sands: Sands for Singapore Charity Festival

Marina Bay Sands is marking a significant milestone with the 10th edition of its Sands for Singapore Charity Festival, themed "Where Hearts Come Together."

This annual event, dedicated to giving back to the community, has raised over S$35 million since its inception in 2013. This year's festival promises to be an unforgettable experience, uniting businesses, non-profits, and the public to make a meaningful impact on society.

The highlight of this year’s festival is the return of the beloved Scoops of Hope, a pop-up booth offering 10 unique ice cream flavors over 10 days. From 16 to 25 August 2024, visitors can indulge in these delectable treats at The Shoppes, Level B2 (near Bacha Coffee). The ice cream, created by Marina Bay Sands’ pastry team and renowned celebrity chef restaurants, will support Metta Café, aiding individuals with intellectual disabilities.

The celebration continues from 23 to 25 August 2024 at the Event Plaza, where guests can participate in various activities, including shopping at the Giving Marketplace, enjoying gourmet treats from Marina Bay Sands' signature restaurants, and dancing to live performances by local artists. The Heartwork: Upcycling for Good booth offers a chance to create memorable keepsakes while supporting the AWWA Transitional Shelter program.

This festival also caps off 10 weeks of internal community engagement, with Marina Bay Sands' Team Members participating in volunteer activities ranging from toy donation drives to art jamming sessions with youth and seniors.
