Tucked humbly in the neighbourhood of Joo Chiat, 60ml by Asador is bringing a post-Prohibition era bar to Singapore while serving classics with a twist and a side of theatrics. The secret bar got its name “60ml by Asador” as each cocktail offered on the menu contains 60ml of spirit instead of the standard 45ml.
Mirror, Mirror on the Wall…

The bar is concealed behind what seems to be a vintage-looking mirror on the wall. Press the button, and soon the mirror turns into a sliding door that leads you to an unexpected time-travel experience when the ban on alcohol was finally lifted in the US and all bars that were previously forced to stay hidden could now operate freely.

Designed and built by an Interior Design company called HW | Homeworks, the interior of the space is inspired mainly by the ambience and decor of historical 1933s Jazz Clubs in New York City.

Conveyed through the immersive graffiti brick wall and the brass-framed posters of various Jazz musicians and musical instruments hung on each side of the room, a stage-like ambience awaits you as you enter the bar. Immerse yourself in the space's intimate mood accompanied by famous Jazz songs played in the background.

The cocktail lineup includes restaurant founder Chef Houssein’s personal favourite. A refreshing concoction aptly named HHR’s Favourite, this spicy ginger creation is made with Gosling's Black Seal rum, fresh mint and lime, Moscato D'Asti, and garnished with candied ginger.
In addition to the charming list of cocktails, 60ml also serves an extensive array of spirits, apertifs and digestifs along with bar bites that will leave patrons spoiled for choice.
