Singapore households now have an added reason to make the switch to energy- and water-efficient home appliances. Under the enhanced Climate Friendly Households Programme (CFHP), more families are now eligible to receive up to $400 in Climate Vouchers to spend at over 150 participating retailers across the country.

Originally launched in 2020 by NEA and PUB, the CFHP encourages families to adopt sustainable living habits by supporting the purchase of resource-efficient household products. The initiative was expanded to include a wider range of energy- and water-saving appliances. This includes ten categories of eligible products such as air-conditioners with a 5-tick rating, washing machines with 4 ticks, LED lights with 2 ticks or more, water-efficient taps, and more.

From 15 April 2025, the programme offers even greater reach and value. Households living in HDB flats who had previously claimed the initial $300 can now receive an additional $100 in vouchers, bringing their total to $400. Meanwhile, Singapore Citizen households in private properties—who were not eligible in earlier phases—can now claim the full $400 for the first time.
To redeem the vouchers, households can visit RedeemSG and select their preferred products at participating retail stores. Vouchers must be claimed and used by 31 December 2027, giving households ample time to plan their upgrades. They can also be used in different denominations.
