Known for their unique mix of musical, comedy, and cabaret, the Dim Sum Dollies will once again captivate audiences at the Capitol Theatre this December.
Following the success of their 2022 post-pandemic show, Still Steam, the Dollies are ready to present a fresh menu of characters and sketches. These performances will feature a combination of classic favorites and new, cheeky takes on Singapore’s historical and political landscape, from the nation's early days to the latest controversies.
The new show will cover milestones such as 1 pandemic, 2 % GST hike, 3 Presidents, 4G transition and 5 guilty corruption pleas, all with a comedic twist. This production will feature the dynamic trio of Selena Tan, Pam Oei, and Jo Tan, alongside a live band, vibrant multimedia effects, and extravagant costumes. Additionally, long-time collaborator Hossan Leong will return, adding his unique flair to the stage.
This might be the last full-scale Dim Sum Dollies performance, making it a must-see for both loyal fans and new audiences. With its sharp wit and playful edge, the show is set to be a spectacular celebration of Singapore’s 60-year journey.
